London and Essex Kent’s Farm Kennels and Cattery are avid participants in the fundraising events held by Cardiac Risk in the Young.

CRY aim to prevent young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, their research programme and screening to identify those at risk. CRY also offers multiple channels of support for family members affected by a young sudden cardiac death.

In order to provide these services they organise many fundraising events, such as the Heart of London Bridges Walk and the Heart of Durham Walk and also provide spaces for people to fundraise for them during larger charity events, such as the London Marathon and Tough Mudder Race Series.

This weekend was the 13th annual CRY Heart of London Bridges Walk and some of our Kent’s Farm team members took part and walked 5.5 miles through London and finished in Southwark Park. These enthusiastic team members are also taking on the Thames Path Challenge in September where team members will have to walk 25km and raise a total of £980.
